Leave Something for the Archaeologists
| Tel el Amarna 2005-04-13 9:00 pm I know I shouldn't write a new entry before everyone has a chance to read the old one.. but I did... Walked all the way to the big giant bridge today. Was amazed to discover houses with yards and parks, trees and lawns. The fact that this is amazing to me just reminds me that I need to get down south, back home again - to the dimension where trees exist. Sat around in the sun, like I did the other day in central park. I feel better when the cold starts to lift. I feel younger, reborn. Which gave me a particular thought: With what's going on in my life right now, with the close friend I have going through the "second adolesence" of transitioning, my having been mistaken several times now for a 17 year old, etc - I've decided, and I think we should all do so, to lose 10 years of age. I am now 17. This concept will be greatly facilitated by my moving back home, learning to drive, and doing college applications for the next X number of months. It almost feels like I have a second chance...
