The Perils of your Eyelashes Torture my Libido into a State of Crass Belief in Roman Catholicism.

Hmm... yes... I have that effect on people... But so pleased was I at the Surreal Compliment Generator (please see Arcanologist link in my profile to inquire further...) that I electronically cutted and jotted my compliments in order that I might bring them all to you at a future date... in an unabashed, orgy-astic display of narcissium and techo-decadence.

As some of you may have noticed I have changed my diary page - with the assistance of omegaserpent and new cyber-friend meeyapede (for whose suggestions I am most grateful) - to something vaguely resembling my ideal vision for my diary. While I am far from complete, I think this page more appropriately imparts the mood for the Amarna Travel-log, as well as displaying the work of one of my favorite artists - Brom (the bottom picture is a work that I modified from Jose del Nido, who is also an exceptional artist.) Hopefully, at some point I will put my own work on this page as well, and perhaps even a link to my band's fabulous website! Of course both the appropriate paintings and the website would need to be constructed first...

As some of you may ALSO have noticed, this travel-log has not travelled as of late. You have visited me, for several months now, with my big spider butt firmly rooted at Tel et Amarna. The reason this is the case is due to my utter lack of creativity as of late, and my inability to weave even the simplest of webs into a poem, journal entry, or even artisitic complaint.

I'm hoping that the next time you visit me, I will not still be sitting here, in the middle of the desert, amongst the ruins of my once-great temples, bitching and whining about my lack of string, or the dullness of my knitting needles; but instead I will be off creating halls of webbed mirrors somewhere in the Lower Kingdom - respinning the cobwebs in my head into music, art, or poetry... or perhaps even a dissertation chapter now and again...

But I guess that's up to the the Weavers of all things...

Here's to hope that the future contains more the gifts of Clotho and the patronage of Lachesis, and less the attention of Atropos, for us all.
