Leave Something for the Archaeologists
| Adana 2004-03-05 11:55 pm "So Long as Men can Breathe or Eyes Can See/So Long Lives This, and This Gives Life to Thee" I pulled the wires from my hair. And spun myself up on the web. I found your land of memories. Digital Green House. Built of sunrises and sorrows. Where crushed blossoms bloom. I found my self, my selfish sister, an elf, and a gaggle of ganders. Playing in the chrome-toned cyber ponds. Of my rememberences, seen from different eyes. And some of the flowers I recognized. And some were fathoms away from my mind. I wondered at their meanings, at their colors. I wondered at what I saw there, and what I must have brought with me. To see those hues in the filtered light. But mostly I wondered why you never told me of your construct. Built from all that was foul and fair. Maybe I was never meant to find it. Maybe I trespassed there. A strange animal, intruding. Walking on someone else's heart.
